I recently made another Ann Wood boat, and was reminded of how gorgeous her home and studio are.  Ann lives in Brooklyn near Prospect Park. She is a fabulously talented artist and works mainly with found and salvaged materials including (my personal passion..) vintage and antique garments. Much of her inspiration comes from the materials and the result is a wonderful world of whimsy, enchantment, and miniature creatures.
