It’s hard not to be a Californian and love the Bohemian style of the late 60s, especially in the summertime. The musical scene, beaches and constant sunshine frequently make me want to buy shag carpeting and wear crochet. But instead of going out head to toe, floor to ceiling, you can mix these pieces with modern by using Bohemian accessories (a crochet pillow or throw for instance) or fabrics. That way, if your love for the style is seasonal like mine is, you can easily go back to your regular digs.
