One word that encapsulates what I love about fall & winter is velvet. Rich, warm, and elegant, velvet pairs well with other fabrics and radiates light like no other. For the home pair it with linens, leather and knits; for fashion pair it with lace, satin, denim and leather. Small touches of it work well too, from pillows to shoes, and dark blue velvet is especially easy to pair with other colors like browns, black, cream, reds and purple.
