A big spring/summer 2011 style trend is bold stripes, and one way to take it a step further is with chevron stripes. What I love about chevron stripes is that unlike straight stripes, they play with the eye in a way that creates movement and is also more flattering. Paired with soft pastels or bright red, black and white chevron stripes add texture and playfulness to an outfit or space.
