One of the hardest things to do is to create a home that suits you and your partner’s styles, especially when you want to blend the masculine and the feminine so that both people feel at home in a space. Keeping a neutral color palette and seeking out mod furniture is a safe bet in balancing different styles. The more organic and feminine shapes of ’60s mod pieces also feel masculine in the way that they are often finished. When main pieces take on both qualities, it makes adding candles, flowers or even manly gadgets look more neutral.
The same can be said of adding masculine touches to an outfit. Even if a woman is wearing a suit, paired with the right jewelry and a little bit of lipstick, it can feel both strong and soft.
