The vibrant red walls were too intense and did not flow with the adjoining room. We covered the walls with a neutral, earth-toned and durable wall covering to lighten the room and to unify it with the adjoining space. The new color also helped to highlight the existing contemporary furnishings, making them the focal point of the room rather than the walls. We also added ornamental shelving to elegantly and gently delineate the boundary between the two spaces.
