| This double story room had the potential to be a dramatic and memorable introduction to the rest of the house. We completely transformed the fireplace making it the focal point of the room, by applying smooth concrete and natural redwood. The walls were painted in light mushroom, existing furniture was re-arranged and accessories including ceramic pottery, vintage sconces, floor lamp, a white hide rug, and glassware were used to embellish and brighten up the space. The same room went from plain and simple to dramatic and memorable with just a few small changes. |
