How do Designers Call's prices compare to other interior designers or design firms?

What type of photos should I send in? What will be most helpful?

The designers at Designers Call can easily get an idea of the look and feel of your space, as well as your general taste, by viewing pictures with these criteria:

•   Three to Four (3-4) pictures of each room from different angles.
•   The largest area you can fit in the photo from one corner of the room.
•   Detail shots closer up of fabric, wallpaper, etc. that you would like to incorporate in the design.
•   An optional shot of the exterior of the space for additional styling detail.

Can I send in other information that would help?

Yes! If you have any of the following images, graphics, or info, please send it through your personal web gallery or through email to info@designerscall.com

•   A floor plan from your builder, architect, or drawn by you including measurements.
•   Website images of rooms or pieces youd like us to see.
•   Note: You may send magazine or catalog clippings in by mail if you dont have web images.

What is included in the Finders services?

For each type of item desired, Designers Call will provide 3 options, each specially selected to fit your personal style and space. This includes item information and, for items available at retail, where to buy them. Purchasing is not included in the service, but can be easily added.

Why would I choose to have Designers Call handle purchasing rather than do it myself?

Purchasing

You can save a lot of money, time and hassle by using Designers Call for your purchasing needs. Our vendor-only relationships mean we can pass substantial savings on to you, often up to 50% below retail. Our purchasing department takes care of all the details for a nominal fee of $100 per hour, prorated every quarter hour. This highly efficient service enables us to purchase multiple items for you in an hour.

What if I'm not happy with the options selected as a part of the shopping service?

Our Guarantee

Because our process is designed to give us the best understanding of your style upfront, we're confident you will find the look you desire among the options we select for you. However, in the unlikely event you are not satisfied with an item, we will "go back to the drawing board" for 3 additional options per item. After that, we offer additional finding/shopping services at a reduced rate of $100/hour.

What if I need to have furniture rearranged for space planning purposes or would like to hire movers if they are not covered in my package?

If you have not chosen the "Mover Package" but require furniture moving or space planning, you will have two options.

1) You can always provide your own moving assistance (please note, by law, our designers cannot participate in heavy moving).

2) You can hire our trusted furniture movers for an additional fee of $60 per hour, per mover. Please inquire with us to help determine your needs, and for scheduling.

If my project requires any construction or subcontractor services, how is this handled?

Construction

We have worked with the same superior contractors and tradesmen for many years, on projects including painting, electrical, minor construction/remodel (like a fireplace), window treatments, floor refinishing, carpet installation, custom furniture, cabinetry and more. Take advantage of our trusted relationships with high-quality service providers; often you will enjoy exclusive discounts based on our relationship. Should you require, we can refer and coordinate any of these services.
